FanCraze has brought exciting changes to SuperTeam in 2025 to enhance gameplay and make it more beginner-friendly while offering bigger rewards. Here’s a detailed look at what’s changing and how it benefits you.
New Flash Mode
This replaces the previous "Upgraded Nets" mode. Here’s what’s new:
Eligibility Criteria
Only Flash Cards and Pro Collectibles can be used in this mode.
Team Requirements
- Teams 1–3: Require 6 Flash Cards each.
- Team 4: Requires 5 Flash Cards and 1 Common Collectible.
- Team 5: Requires 4 Flash Cards and 2 Common Collectibles.
Rewards System
- Upgraded Rewards: Given only if the Total Collectible Points (CP) ≥ 50.
- Base Rewards: Given if the CP is below 50.
Swaps Allowed
Players can swap Flash Cards within this mode. Collectible Points (CP) will decrease by 0.5 each time a Flash Card or Common Collectible is used.
SOTM Pack Price
Users need to pay $2 Cash + $20 Game Coins to purchase the SOTM Pack. This cost remains consistent, irrespective of whether upgraded rewards are achieved.
New Pro Modes Overview
FanCraze now offers three Pro Modes
- Classic
- In-Season
- Grand
These modes are tailored to accommodate different gameplay preferences.
Collectibles Allowed
- Only Pro Collectibles are permitted in all three modes.
Maximum Teams
- Classic Mode: Up to 10 teams.
- In-Season: Up to 5 teams.
- Grand: Up to 5 teams.
Minimum Number of In-Season (E4) Collectibles Across Modes
Classic Mode: Requires only 1 E4 Collectible.
In-Season Mode & Grand Mode: Until March 14, 2025: At least 2 E4 collectibles are needed. From March 15, 2025: The requirement increases to 3 or 4 E4 collectibles.
Maximum Number of In-Season (E4) Collectibles
Classic Modes allow up to 1 or 2 E4 collectibles whereas In-Season and Grand modes allow up to 6 E4 collectibles per team.
Game Points Bonuses for E4 Collectibles:
Using E4 collectibles gives bonus Game Points:
- Common E4 Collectibles: 2.5% bonus
- Rare E4 Collectibles: 5% bonus
- Epic E4 Collectibles: 15% bonus
Allocation of Pro Games
- Classic Mode: Accounts for 35-40% of all Pro Games.
- In-Season Mode: Covers 40-45% of Pro Games, which makes it the most prominent mode.
- Grand Mode: The most elite and competitive mode with only 20-25% of Pro Games allocated.
What This Means
The majority of Pro Games will fall under In-Season Mode, while the Grand Mode will be the most limited but likely offer the best rewards.
Team Slots & Collectible Requirements
Classic Mode
- Team 1: Can use all rarities (Common, Rare, Epic).
- Teams 2-5: Can also use all rarities but must include at least one Epic Collectible.
- Teams 6-10: Restricted to Rare and Common Collectibles only.
In-Season Mode
- Teams 1-3: Can use all rarities.
- Teams 4-5: Limited to Rare and Common Collectibles only.
Grand Mode
- Teams 1-3: Can use all rarities.
- Teams 4-5: Limited to Rare and Common Collectibles only.
What This Means
If you want to compete in Classic Mode with all 10 teams, you must use Rare and Common Collectibles for teams 6-10. In In-Season Modes, only 5 teams are allowed, and teams 4-5 have rarity restrictions (no Epics).
Upgraded Rewards Criteria
To qualify for Upgraded Rewards, your Total Collectible Points (CP) must be 330 or higher.
- If CP ≥ 330 - You receive Upgraded Rewards.
- If CP < 330 - You only receive Base Rewards.
What This Means
To maximize rewards, focus on building a team with high CP collectibles. The more the CP of your collectibles, the better the rewards.
Swaps
Swaps allow you to change players in your team.
Swaps in Daily Pro Games
- Swaps may be OFF (0 swaps) or ON (1 swap), depending on the game.
Swaps in Pro Leagues
- Swaps may be OFF (0 swaps) or ON (1-2 swaps).
Swap Penalty System:
- 1st Swap - Deducts 20 Game Points.
- 2nd Swap - Deducts 30 Game Points.
What This Means
Swaps can help you optimize your team, but each swap reduces your Game Points. Use swaps strategically to minimize penalties.
Multipliers
Multipliers are the same as they have been:
- 2x Multiplier: Doubles your points.
- 1.5x Multiplier: Increases points by 50%.
- 1.25x Multiplier: Increases points by 25%.
What This Means
Using multipliers strategically can significantly boost your final score and help you rank higher.
SOTM (Skill of the Match) Scoring
Your score will be calculated as 50% of the Game Points earned by the highest-scoring Batter, Bowler, or All-Rounder in the game.
What This Means
Choosing the right skill for the SOTM slot is crucial to maximizing your overall score.
New Game Points System
FanCraze has revamped its Game Points System to improve scoring transparency and rewards distribution. Fantasy Points are calculated based on player performance in real-life matches using an industry-standard scoring system.
Game Points will be derived from the Fantasy Points of players who have collectibles within FanCraze. Players will be ranked from highest to lowest Fantasy Points, and Game Points will be assigned based on their ranks.
For eg., Virat Kohli scores the highest Fantasy Points in a game, so he will be assigned 100 Game Points.
Points Distribution (Examples):
- Rank 1: 100 Game Points.
- Rank 2: 80 Game Points.
- Rank 3: 70 Game Points.
- Rank 4: 60 Game Points.
- Points gradually decrease for lower ranks.
SuperTeam Game Points Tie Breaker Logic
If multiple players have the same Fantasy Points, they will share the average Game Points of their ranks.
Example 1: No Tie in Ranks 1-4
- Rank 1: 100 Points
- Rank 2: 80 Points
- Rank 3: 70 Points
- Rank 4: 60 Points
What This Means
If each rank has a unique player, they receive the standard pre-assigned points.
Example 2: Tie in Ranks 1-2
- Rank 1: 90 Points
- Rank 2: 90 Points
- Rank 3: 70 Points
- Rank 4: 60 Points
What This Means
Here, two players tied for 1st place. Instead of one getting 100 and the other 80, both share the average points of Rank 1 & 2: (100 + 80) ÷ 2 = 90 Points each.
Rank 3 and Rank 4 remain unchanged.
Example 3: Tie in Ranks 1-3
- Rank 1: 83.33 Points
- Rank 2: 83.33 Points
- Rank 3: 83.33 Points
- Rank 4: 60 Points
What This Means
Three players tied for 1st place, so they share the average of the first three ranks: (100 + 80 + 70) ÷ 3 = 83.33 Points each.
Rank 4 still gets the original 60 points.
CP Deductions and Melts Usage
FanCraze has introduced changes to how Collectible Points (CP) and Melts are handled across modes.
CP Deductions
- Daily Games: Deduct 0.5 CP for each Flash or Pro game.
- Leagues: Deduct 2 CP per Flash or Pro League.
CP will not fall below the minimum thresholds
- Flash Collectibles: Minimum CP = 5.
- Common Collectibles: Minimum CP = 15.
- Rare Collectibles: Minimum CP = 30.
- Epic Collectibles: Minimum CP = 70.
Melts Usage in Pro Games
Players can use a limited number of Melts per team in Daily Pro Games and Pro Leagues. The highest-scoring player across the entire league earns points for the team. Melts cannot be swapped during the league.
Swaps
Swaps allow users to replace underperforming players during games with specific rules and penalties applied.
Daily Games:
- Allowed Swaps: 1 player per game.
- Skill Constraints: Swaps must match the skill type (e.g., Bowler for Bowler).
- Edition and Rarity Constraints: Swaps can involve different editions or rarities, provided team constraints are met.
- Penalty: 20 Game Points deducted for swapping.
Leagues:
- Allowed Swaps: 1–2 players across the league.
- Skill Constraints: Swaps must match the skill type (e.g., Bowler for Bowler).
- Edition and Rarity Constraints: Swaps can involve different editions or rarities, provided team constraints are met.
- Timing: Swaps are only allowed between matches when no live games are happening.
- Penalty: 20 Game Points for the first swap & 30 Game Points for the second swap.
- No Re-Swaps: A player who is swapped out cannot be swapped back in for the rest of the league for that particular lineup.
Indicative Prizes for Pro Games
Classic Games: 10% of the prizes will be awarded as Bonus Cash.
In-Season Games: 15% of the prizes will be awarded as Bonus Cash.
Game Coins: Additional rewards in the form of Game Coins.
