How Currency Works On FanCraze
FanCraze runs on two currencies: Cash and Gold Essence.
Cash
Cash is your spending balance for collectible packs, individual collectibles, marketplace trades, and digital consumables. It comes in two sub-types:
A Few Things To Know:
- All deposits land as Non-Withdrawable Cash — usable everywhere on the platform, but not withdrawable.
- Indian users receive all rewards as Non-Withdrawable Cash, in line with local regulations. These funds are fully spendable on FanCraze.
- International users receive rewards primarily as Withdrawable Cash (some exceptions apply), withdrawable once KYC, 2FA, and minimum threshold requirements are met.
- Selling collectibles on the marketplace always generates Withdrawable Cash — for everyone, including Indian users.
- This is the only way Indian users can receive Withdrawable Cash on FanCraze.
- Because a marketplace sale is a Virtual Digital Asset (VDA) transaction between two users — not a reward from FanCraze — it falls outside reward regulations and is fully compliant with applicable guidelines.
Note: Non-Withdrawable Cash has no monetary value outside the platform. It cannot be withdrawn, redeemed for cash, or gifted.
Gold Essence
Gold Essence is FanCraze's utility currency. 1 Gold Essence ≈ $0.01 in platform value.
Use it for discounts on packs and collectibles, edition upgrades, cosmetics, and future platform experiences — one unified layer across everything.
Gold Essence has no monetary value outside the platform. It cannot be withdrawn, redeemed for cash, or gifted.
What Changed Recently
Bonus Points convert to Gold Essence at 1:1. FC Points convert to Non-Withdrawable Cash at equivalent dollar value.
Fewer currencies, clearer rules, more flexibility. That's the idea.
