FanCraze is introducing a new utility called Lock & Burn Leaderboard with an aim to allow users to win big rewards and iconic collectibles. Here’s how it works:
What is Lock & Burn Leaderboard?
The Lock & Burn Leaderboard is an event where users can commit their collectibles to a leaderboard to compete for exclusive rewards. This means users need to lock their collectibles, rendering them unusable in the Marketplace and SuperTeam Games for the duration. The winner’s locked collectibles at the closing of the leaderboard are burned while the collectibles for the rest of the users are unlocked.
How Does Lock & Burn Leaderboard Work?
Locking Collectibles: Users lock their eligible collectibles, which temporarily removes them from use in other ICC Crictos SuperTeam activities.
Burning Collectibles: A unique aspect of this event is the burning mechanism. At the leaderboard's conclusion, the locked collectibles from the winners' collections will be burned, meaning they are permanently removed from circulation while the locked collectibles for those that didn’t win will be unlocked and returned.
Eligibility Criteria: Not all collectibles are eligible for each leaderboard. ICC Crictos SuperTeam announces specific criteria for eligibility with each leaderboard event, allowing users to strategize which collectibles to lock in for the best chance of winning. In certain leaderboards, users might be required to compulsory lock certain collectibles to participate in the leaderboard and earn rewards.
How Does The Leaderboard Work?
The Locking & Burning Leaderboard goes live as soon as the event starts and remains active until the specified end date. Participants can lock their eligible collectibles during this period, and a real-time leaderboard showcases their live standings based on the locked collectibles.
Variations in Leaderboard Criteria
There are two variations in Locking & Burning Leaderboards:
Higher FC Score: In this variation, the leaderboard is determined by the total FC Score of the locked collectibles of the user.
Higher Number of Collectibles Locked: Here, the focus is on the sheer quantity of collectibles a user decides to lock, with the total count being the key factor for success.
Rewards & Aftermath
Once the leaderboard closes, rewards are distributed based on the final standings.
Winners receive their prizes and have their locked collectibles burned, while all other participants get their collectibles unlocked and returned to them for future use.
Rewards include cash rewards, premium collectibles, exclusive merchandise, and opportunities to meet ICC Crictos SuperTeam Brand Ambassadors.
