Each league has its own structure, teams, and tournament format, but both are built around one idea: Give fans the chance to own and play with cricket history.

Historical Leagues is powered by a sophisticated simulation engine that mirrors the variables that shape real cricket matches.
Before every contest, the engine analyses a range of conditions that can influence performance.
Different Player Pools for ODI and T20I Historical Leagues
The ODI and T20I Historical Leagues have separate player pools.
This means the collectibles eligible for ODI challenges are different from those available in T20I challenges. Each league features players selected based on their impact and legacy in that specific format.

ODI Historical League
The ODI Historical League features 8 cricket powerhouses:

Each team plays 14 league matches in a 58-match season.
The top team marches directly to the Final, while the second and third-placed teams battle it out for the remaining final spot.
T20I Historical League
The T20I Historical League adds one wildcard entry: Rest Of The World
This squad includes stars from:
- Afghanistan
- Bangladesh
- Ireland
- Netherlands
- Scotland
- Zimbabwe
The league consists of 76 matches, including a full playoff system:
- Qualifier 1
- Eliminator
- Qualifier 2
- Final
How To Build Your Team?
Historical Leagues use a streamlined six-player format.
Every team must include:
- 1 Batter
- 1 Bowler
- 1 All-Rounder
- 3 Open Slots
This setup gives users plenty of room to mix legends and tailor teams based on conditions.
You might back a pace-heavy lineup on a seamer-friendly surface or stack batters when the pitch looks like a road.
Multipliers
The difference between a good lineup and a leaderboard-topping lineup often comes down to multipliers.
Users can assign three multipliers (2x, 1.5x & 1,25x) to boost selected players’ scores.
No Swaps. No Safety Nets.
Historical Mode follows a true “set and forget” format.
Once the match starts, your lineup is locked.
Live Simulations In Real Time
Each match runs for approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
During the simulation, users can follow:

Playing XIs Revealed In Advance
Playing XIs are announced when challenges go live, typically 2 to 3 days before the simulation.
This gives users worldwide enough time to research, plan, and submit lineups.
How Are Game Points Calculated?
- Game Points in FanCraze Historical Leagues are earned based on how your selected players perform in each simulated match.
- Once the simulation is complete, multipliers and any applicable edition bonuses are applied to determine your final score.
