FanCraze is thrilled to announce the Flash Marketplace, a brand-new platform feature designed to enhance your user experience and help you get the most out of your Flash Cards. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or just getting started, the Flash Marketplace is here to give you a taste of how the larger FanCraze ecosystem works.

Let’s break down what’s new and how it benefits you:

What Are Flash Cards?

Flash Cards are cricket collectibles that you can use to play, trade and build your collection. Previously, these cards didn’t have serial numbers and couldn’t be traded. You could only:

  • Receive them via airdrops, pack purchases, SOTM (Skill of the Match) packs or buy from Instant Buy.

With the launch of the Flash Marketplace, that has all changed. Flash Cards now come with serial numbers and can be freely traded bringing them much closer to the experience you’d have with Pro collectibles.

What’s New?

Serial Numbers & Trading

  • Serial Numbers: All newly distributed Flash Cards will now come with unique serial numbers. This adds an extra layer of authenticity and collectibility.
  • Marketplace Trading: You can list your Flash Cards on the Flash Marketplace for other users to buy and you can purchase Flash Cards directly from other users.

Benefit: By allowing user-to-user transactions, Flash Cards gain a real market value and enables you to grow your collection in a more dynamic and flexible way.

Price Floors, Caps, and Increments

To keep the trading environment smooth and fair, FanCraze has introduced rules on pricing:

  1. Price Floors
    • L1: $2
    • L2: $0.5
    • L3: $0.2
    • L4: $0.1
  1. Price Increments: Allowed increments of $0.1. This means you can list a Flash Card at $1.5 or $1.6, but not $1.55.
  2. Price Cap: $5. No user can list a Flash Card above $5.

Selling & Trading Restrictions Based on CP

You can list or trade a Flash Card on the Flash Marketplace only if its current CP is above the base CP (5). If your card has dropped to the minimum, you must Top-Up your card before listing/trading it. This keeps the marketplace fair and ensures buyers receive cards in playable condition.

 

Collectible Points (CP)

Collectible Points are a measure of a Flash Card’s “health” or “strength.” They influence gameplay performance and can be topped up if needed.

  1. Base CP
    • 10 CP for Flash Cards bought from the Shop or purchased in Packs (with cash).
    • 5 CP for Flash Cards obtained from SOTM Packs or other sources.
  2. CP Loss
    • 0.5 CP lost if a Flash Card is used in a Flash Mode game.
    • 2.0 CP lost if a Flash Card is used in a Flash Mode League.

These deductions simulate wear and tear when you use your Flash Cards in competitive gameplay.

Top-Ups

Don’t worry if your Flash Card’s CP starts to dip; you can always Top-Up!

  • Maximum CP you can top up to is 10.
  • Cost per CP varies by card level:
    • L3/L4: $0.02 per CP
    • L2: $0.05 per CP
    • L1: $0.10 per CP

Example: If your L1 card has 8 CP, you need 2 CP to get it back to 10. Each CP for an L1 card costs $0.10, so the total cost would be $0.20.

Why Top Up? Topping up helps you unlock upgraded rewards in Flash Mode when your team’s CP exceeds 50.

 

Buying Flash Cards From Flash Cards- Singles Section

You can still purchase Flash Cards directly from FanCraze from the Flash Cards- Singles Section. The prices are:

  • L1: $3 (Rs. 250)
  • L2: $1.5 (Rs. 125)
  • L3: $0.5 (Rs. 40)
  • L4: $0.25 (Rs. 20)

Buying from the Shop guarantees a fresh card at full CP (10), helping you jump right into gameplay or trading.

 

Understanding Flash Card Supply

Each player’s Flash Cards come from a list of moments. Whenever you buy a Flash Card from the Shop or get one in an SOTM Pack, you receive one random moment from that player’s Flash Collectibles list.

For example, A player like Virat Kohli can have a list of 20 moments with each having a maximum supply of 10,000 cards. That adds up to a total of 200,000 possible Kohli Flash Cards. Whenever you buy one from the Shop or receive one from an SOTM Pack, you are randomly assigned one of those 20 Moments

  • Higher CP = Upgraded Rewards: Use your Flash Cards in Flash Mode games or leagues, top up CP and unlock bigger rewards. The more CP your cards have, the greater your in-game earnings.
